Sub and Super sub ohming

Warning: should only attempt if you are an experienced builder and have the right type of battery. So I am a super sub-ohmer. I like my .29-.39 ohm builds because they produce tons of vapor. That is the point of sub and super sub ohming. It gets really hot and it makes tons of vapor. Now normally if you are sub and super sub ohming the flavor is lost because of how hot it gets. However if you do an 11 wrap nano coil like I have then the flavor is superb and it makes tons of vapor. So you should only attempt low ohm builds if you are very well versed with ohm's law and you have a good battery that can handle high amps. The lower the ohm build the more amps are required to power it. I can not stress enough how important it is to have a good battery. Seriously, if the amps are too low it will blow up or vent or get super hot. No good. You can get lower ohms with lower gauge wire or with smaller diameter coils, or a combination of both. So if you are going to attempt this please be very careful.

Stuffed mushrooms

Hey everyone, stuffed mushrooms, is there a proper way to cook them? Yes. If you are going to cook stuffed mushrooms on a grill you should be very generous with the oil or non stick spray. They stick even with a good amount of oil on the foil. So as soon as you get those suckers on the heat move them on and off the foil at least twice so they don't stick as they cook. Most stuffed mushrooms are stuffed with cheese and veggies. Some you can buy in the store and others you can stuff yourself.

First Week

So as you all devoted readers know, or you may not know, at 5:00pm tonight it will mark the end of the first week that this blog has been up. I only need like 40 more views to get to the 400th view. It would be amazing if we ended the first week with 400 hits. So tell all your friends, whether they vape or not, to check out the blog and tell their friends too. I will probably post another post about how to cook stuffed mushrooms on a grill soon so look forward to that. Keep reading guys, I am super stoked at how popular this is already. It took me about a year to get 900 hits on another blog about music. On that one however I was not as diligent as I am on this one. I took about a 5 month hiatus from the other one and I do not keep it up very well. That will not be the case with this one. I have been posting at lightning pace with this one. I have to admit it will be slowing down to probably one or two posts per day in the future. There is only so much you can review. Which is why I put "and other things" in the title. Thank you all.

BTW check out my two YouTube videos, they are on a post somewhere in here. There will be more on the way and eventually I hope to start doing some wire building tutorials on there as well. I think I may have thought of a new type of coil called the "Criss-Cross" coil. I will do a tutorial on it as soon as I tinker with it more and experiment. I will probably write a post on it as well.

Hey everyone, this one is about music. So the band XXYYXX is pretty cool. With their most popular tracks About You and Set It Off being super chill, ambient, techno with all sorts of heavy beats. Some people describe those songs as perfect for getting high. That is a very good description. They are supper funky and have sick beats that would definitely take you under nice and chill if you were getting high while listening to it. On their self titled album the hits are the ones I mentioned above, however I really like Fields which is off of the same album. Marcel Everett is the man behind the music, he is home grown in good old Orlando, Florida. With most trap and techno up and coming stars coming from across the Atlantic ocean and from other countries it is nice to know that there are still good American music producers. He technically has three full albums, but I would consider Still Sound and Mystify as being part albums. His self titled album is the only one that I would consider a "full album". He has three EPs and a few collaborations as well as remixes. He will be playing at the Observatory in October, however I sadly won't be going. Anyway check him out if you like good techno/ chill-step music. Or for all you wax and herb vapors out there listen to him next time you pack that in your herborizer of choice.

Stillare Clone

Hi everyone how is it going. Today I am going to review the Stillare RDA clone. Now before we start there are many companies that clone the Stillare. Tobeco, HCigar, and Infinite all make clones of the Stillare. It was originally made by Cartel to fit the Cartel mod. I believe mine was an Infinite clone, it was a beast of an atty. I broke mine though because I tried to re-straighten the center post because it spun a little. Now many in the Vaping community believe that the Stillare clone is one of the best cloned atties out there, I agree with them. This thing could handle a beating. There are many great things about this atty. In my opinion the first and main huge benefit is its slotted, adjustable airflow. It has two horizontal slots on each side of it that are adjustable. This has the benefit of getting air on all of most horizontally built coils. The next huge plus is the posts. They are gold plated and they have huge post holes. I could run a dual 22 gauge no problem because the post holes were huge. That brings us to why it is such a good clone. The insulator in the clones can handle low low ohm builds because it is a supper high quality material. This allows builds that can get super sub ohm without frying the insulator. It also has a pretty good sized juice well. It can hold lots of juice and can handle super sub ohm builds, what a deal. It comes in regular size which you can put on all 18650 type mods, and it also comes in a 26650 size for all you huge mod people out there. The new V3 has a tripple negative post design so you can build more coils on it, which is pretty cool. Now there is a V4 version out which has a quad negative post design, but in my oppinion that should only be used for the 28.5mm wide larger model, it seems like it would get crowded on a 22mm size one. Fasttech sells them from anywhere between $7.41 to around $14.00. Elsewhere they sell for around $22.00, and in most shops they sell from $20.00 to around $30.00. It is a great clone and it was made for the Cartel Mod so I'll post a pic of it on its own and one on a Cartel.

It kind of looks like a bullet when it is on its cartel mod.

Be Polite

Hey everyone hope you are having s super awesome day, I know I am. I am just chilling writing posts and keeping up on my social world related specifically to this blog. I created a twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Google+, and a pintrest just go get people to hear about the blog. Lots of work. Anyway I just want to tell everyone to be polite when you vape in public. "But why should I"? You might ask. The reason is simple, be treated how you want to be treated. Most people who don't vape are fed lies about it. Some of those are: it has second hand vapor, it is anti-freeze, it blows up. None of those are true to an extent. It can blow up if you are being a knucklehead and running too low of an ohm. It also can give someone a nicotine buzz if you are in a tight closed off environment and you are chain vaping. So just be polite when you are in public and you are taking a few drags. Most people equate rudeness to smokers, and some see vapers as being just as rude. How are we going to spread the good news that it helps people quit and that it is way healthier than smoking if they are to disgusted to even listen?

Taifun drip tip

I was recently given a taifun drip tip from a friend and I love it. It sure beats the other drip tip that I had which was a plastic one. This one is metal and it fits perfectly in my lips and it doesn't get hot at all. It looks nice on my Igo-W and it works well too. I also got a little creme brule flavor from another friend that is really nice. I mixed that together with my special blend of GQ: Eclipse and Nicks: Apple Cider. It is 1 part creme brule, 2 parts Nick's: Apple Cider, and 1 part GQ: Eclipse. It is absolutely amazing flavor wise, it is like a sweet rich pastry with berry cream filling. The after taste is a strong Eclipse, but the creme brule sticks in there too. It is just great. That is my go-to liquid that I have been talking about for a while. Seriously if you can get all the ingredients I suggest you try this mix of juices.

New Equipment

Hey everyone how was your weekend? I took the day off yesterday because I was buying some stuff. Over the weekend I bought an Orchid RTA for my main flavor while everyone is sending me samples. Sort of a palate cleanser, something you know and love resets your taste-buds for a new flavor. I also happened to buy a 4nine mod clone. Some people say 49 others say 4nine. Either way I spent like 20 something dollars on my whole order from fasttech. I am really starting to love that website. Super super cheap gear, I haven't checked out the juice prices and selections, but if it is as good as the gear then fasttech is one of the best places to buy stuff. I also happened to buy a Sony VTC3 1600mah 30A battery from amazon for about 8 dollars. I basically got a whole new setup. I am so excited to start receiving these sample juices, the first of which should be here Wednesday. Believe it or not this will be my first vape mail. I will do in depth reviews on all the products i bought when they get here and I have time to analyze them. Until then I will primarily post concept pieces and some music reviews, possibly with a review on the Stillare clone.

Tobh Atty

Hey everyone how is it going? Today I am going to talk about the Atty by Tobh. It is a really good atomizer because of many things. The first is the design, it has 3 parts excluding the drip tip. The base has a copper center post connector and they have pretty large post holes that allow for building with higher gauge wire. There is one drawback that the base itself has, there are two tabs on each side that can get in the way of the airflow. The second part is the center tube which has 6 air-holes total on it, three on each side. I have found that on the older model that if you turn this center tube upside down that it can hold more juice and that its air holes are higher which makes better air-flow. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT try this on the newer versions. It will leak if you do it on the new version. The third part is the top cap, which has a funnel shaped intake, and it has cooling bars on the outside which help keep the atty cool for those low ohm builds. Overall it hits pretty hard and it is pretty well priced. The new version has a laser engraved emblem of two lightning bolts. It makes it look like a Christmas tree. It is a pretty good atomizer and if you get the real one it handles low ohm builds nicely.

2nd Bottle

I bought my second bottle of GQ Eclipse yesterday. I am really, really, reeeeaaaallllyyy liking that juice. I will be testing some other flavors from that line today or tomorrow ad Underground Vapors. I have gotten a third company that wants to send me samples now. Hopefully they all don't come at once, that would be a flavor overload. Really looking forward to testing these guys' juices out. I finished the very last of my Suicide Bunny: Sucker Punch. It tastes great, but I am still thinking that it is unhealthy. Please any companies with custard based e-liquids make sure there are no chemicals in them. Now that people know that there are some in Suicide Bunny they will probably be testing other custard based juices, so batter up the hatches if the same chemicals are in there. Or get a head start on trying to change the chemistry of your juices even before they get tested. The flood gates are now open. I might be testing a mech mod at the shop today, maybe a Fuhattan, which is a Manhattan clone. I say maybe because Underground Vapors sold all but one of their 20+ order in four days. If you are a vape shop that wants a quick selling clone, stock up on Fuhattans.

The link between EDM/Electric Music and Vaping

Have you ever noticed what music is always playing in Vape shops? I have, it is normally electric or some slow edm music. I believe this is because that type of music increases your heart rate. Which makes you more inclined to make quick decisions on what to buy, or it might make you more inclined to buy more than one thing. It is also pretty good music to just chill and hang out with while you vape. This seems to be the best correlation between the two since they seem to go together like peas in a pod.

What are your thoughts on this? I am curious.

Blowing up

This post is not about e-cig batteries blowing up. But I will do a post on why that happens sometimes and how to prevent it. This post is about the site traffic. WTF Aerotank Turbo?

I think this thing has two atomizer heads going at the same time. Time to dig up some research. I am intrigued and thirst to know what this is. Look for an update.

UPDATE: It does, it does, it does. My head just exploded. OK going to do a full review on this soon, minus a test out because my shop doesn't carry it and I won't buy it because I don't have good experiences with Kanger products. Who knows, this might be the one to tip the scale in their favor.

Vision Spinner II

Hey everyone, how is it going? I am going to talk about the Vision Spinner II by Vision. It is a great eGo type battery that offers many features that make it great. It has a 1600mah battery on the inside, which is huge for an eGo-type battery. That means that it will last way longer between charges. It is variable voltage with 3.3, 3.8, 4.3, and 4.8 voltage settings. The voltage selection ring locks into place when it is on a designated voltage, which is pretty new because most spin type selectors are non-locking. It also has a smart battery sensor, which means that it will tell you how much juice is left in your battery. That is a pretty cool feature too. I bought one for my friend and he let me use it for a while. If I wasn't a mech mod person then I would buy this battery. I really liked it, it handled all the tanks that I tried on there very well. This battery is for second generation style vape setups. It can handle drippers, but only if they are over 1.2ohms, which is not what I do. I would strongly recommend this battery to anyone who uses eGo batteries. You can buy it from fasttech where is the cheapest that I have seen anywhere on the web. They also sell it from the visioncig website. I give this battery a 9.5 out of 10 for eGo style batteries. It also comes in about 13 different colors, so whatever suits you.

I'm going to go vape now, I might write a review on the Vision Spinner II when I get back. I am probably going to finish up the last of my GQ Vape: Eclipse. I need to get some more.

Kraken RTA

I love my Kraken RTA clone. It is a genesis style atomizer which means that it has a tank, but you rebuild the coils and re-wick it yourself like a dripper. Think of it as a hybrid, an awesome cloud chucking hybrid. It has four pieces excluding the drip tip. There is a glass tube, the middle post and connections, the over cap, and the adjustable airflow cap. Now I drilled out the air holes on mine because they were a little small to begin with, and I am the type of person that needs huge airflow. Right now I have a stainless steal mesh wick in there and I am liking it so far. People always say that stainless steal mesh is better than cotton, well I don't think so. Anyway, the performance of the Kraken is something to be desired even on a dripper, it has a huge building area, but you can't go too crazy or you won't be able to wick it properly.  It is a nice genesis style atomizer, I love mine. You need to be careful not to drop it though or it will shatter.
